I need a party theme. On Inauguration Day, I figure people are going to be dropping in to Media Central, where there are three big-screen TVs; but I also have a team working in that room, and we have new services we want to promote. Specifically: video news releases. So the tie-in is video: come watch the inauguration and win a chance at a video release! Something like that.
The best I've come up with is to have a big wheel of brie - or cheddar, or stilton, or whatever - and call it the Big Cheese. Decorations and food are no problem, and we'll work out what to give away in the fishbowl drawing (I was gonna offer a free "inaugural" multimedia release, but my director says how about 10% off - she's very protective of our bottom line). I just need something funny to call this thing.
It could be a play on Oval Office, or Hail to the (Whatever), or Swearing In (there's an easy one), or Oath of Office (Office Oaths, mmm, not so much). Or it could go the video direction, America's Funniest Presidential Bloopers, whatever. Please post any ideas in Comments, and I'm sorry you have to do that "prove you're a human" thing. I have to do it too, which amazes and perplexes me, since I'm already signed in with password and all.
Thanks!
Big Cheese....hmmm, West Wing brought to our attention a white house "holiday" of sorts, Big Block of Cheese day. Check out Wikipedia on this theme - you can tie the the white house to the cheese!!

Hmmm...I'm prone toward the Big Brother-ish "We're Watching You" / "He's Everywhere" type deal, or else "Create Your Own Pomp and Circumstance" / "Make the Country Stop to Watch Your Client" ... I guess those aren't festive themes though. This is why I flunked.
"Mission Accomplished" ;)
